Hi. My name is Rebecca G. Jones, and this is my music reviewing blog.
The purpose here is to review music. I listen to a lot of it, and because some American reviewing site didn’t want to pay for the shipping to send me music to review for them, I’ve since decided to start reviewing music for myself. This blog is an ongoing archive of my journalistic dream to start reviewing for the mass public – a dream which may or may not have any merit to realism. But you know, there’s nothing wrong with making pathetic attempts.
Originally, the name Audio Intercourse was supposed to be the name of a radio show that I was to have with my best friend in college. We wanted to play orgasmic Canadian music for those who didn’t know that it existed, though needless to say, that plan didn’t work out so well. I’ve since salvaged the name for this weblog alone, which won’t only feature Canadian artists, but artists from all over, from all genres, from all ranks.
Personally, I’m a pretentious listener. I choose my music based on greatness and overall awesomeness. My favorite genres include alternative, rock, ambient, folk rock, and anything indie, because independent music makes me shudder with lust.
